Précision_sur la representation :	Saint Laurent regard tourné vers le ciel, mains croisées sur la poitrine, est maintenu prisonnier par une corde tenu par un garde romain, d'autres gardes romains l'entourent. Son bourreau, un personnage penché prépare son supplice : il place des braises sous un grill. Le gouverneur romain est assis sur untrône. Un nimbe doré entoure la tête du saint.
