Historique :	Ce type de presse à copie de lettres était principalement utilisé dans les administrations. La presse servait à réaliser des copies des lettres originales envoyées par la banque en les archivant directement dans un grand registre. Le registre contenant la lettre originale prise entre deux feuilles de papier était pressé durant une minute ou deux et une copie était réalisée directement dans le registre grâce à l'encre liquide.
