l'association est un cercle de réflexion et de propositions (Think-Tank) , traitant des grands sujets liés à la révolution des NBIC et de leurs impacts au niveau philosophique, épistémologique, sociologique, économique, juridique et scientifique etc ; et de le rendre accessible au grand public ; des projets de recherche seront lancés dans ces domaines ; la vocation de NXU est de synthétiser et confronter les points de vue des leaders d'opinion concernant les NBIC ; puis d'en analyser l'impact dans les disciplines qui définissent et organisent le fonctionnement humain (Philosophie, sociologie, économie, etc ; ) en faisant intervenir des experts dans ces domaines ; rendre accessible ces sujets complexes auprès du plus grand nombre ; lancer des travaux de recherche et réflexion pour refonder nos modèles sociétaux tels que par exemple : l'éthique, le risque, la réglementation, l'économique etc
